STATEMENT

 I am running because I want to see Fairfield thrive as we watch our kids grow up. As an RTM member, I will work to ensure that our schools are properly funded, and that our children receive the stellar education that they deserve. Our budgets should preserve programs such as the arts, music, and recreation, which make school fun and fulfilling for students.  I oppose any cuts to our schools, especially when our buildings need upgrades - including better HVAC systems - and our kids are still recovering from the Covid setbacks. I will also focus on keeping our public spaces and streets safe, clean, and accessible. As a current transit commissioner, I have worked to improve our transit system, approve fair union contracts, and reduce traffic problems.
